What so many have been waiting for has finally happened, and Genshin Impact will receive the 3.0 update on August 24. The update, romantically titled “The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings,” promises to be massive, adding a new region, called Sumeru, in a desert and rainforest setting.
That’s not all, Hoyoverse plans to add new characters, and one of them, Collie, will be available for free during the Graven Innocence event.
Overall, I can’t say, either from the trailer or my expectations, that we’re getting anything revolutionary. Rather, the update will continue the game’s storyline.
