The iPhone has a handy favorites list function. It can be found in the “Favorites” section of the Phone app. In fact, the favorites are the people you call most often. IPhone gives you the ability to set up your own favorites list.
How to add contacts to the favorites list
Adding a contact to your favorites doesn’t take much time or effort. Looking at any of your contacts, you might have noticed the “Add to Favorites” button. By clicking this button, you will see a list of phone numbers of this person that you have. Select the number you want to add to your favorites and click on it. Now this number is in the list.
In addition, you have the option of setting a “Do Not Disturb” mode. This mode will allow your favorite contacts to contact you even if you have Do Not Disturb enabled.

How to Delete iPhone Favorites
You may need to delete a contact that is in your favorites list. This is as easy to do as it is to add:
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap Favorites.
- Tap Edit.
- There is a red minus icon next to each selected contact. Tap it to delete the contact.
- Click Delete to confirm your action.
This action will remove the contact from favorites only, but it will remain in your phonebook. You can also make it easy to delete your favorites. After opening the phone app and selecting favorites, swipe from right to left on the contact you want to delete.
How to change the order of favorites
You can also change the order of your favorite contacts. To do this, you need to click Change in the Favorites tab. A list of your favorite contacts will be displayed to you. Now you need to click on the symbol to the left of the person you want to move. This symbol looks like three horizontal lines. How to select contacts using the 3D Touch Menu
This feature is available to owners of iPhones from the 6 series onwards. By clicking on the Telephone app icon, you will see a context menu. This menu gives you easy access to three or four your favorite contacts, depending on the size of your iPhone screen. In iOS 11, iOS 12, and iOS 13, contacts are displayed in the same order as in Favorites.
