The next-gen The Witcher 3 update adds quality features, a 4K/30 FPS global lighting mode with ray tracing, a new camera angle, several secrets, and more. There’s also a long-awaited quest based on Netflix’s “The Witcher” series, available for free on all platforms and in a familiar location.
It turns out to be the Devil’s Pit in Velen. The location caught players’ attention because it was tough, but there were only a few human enemies and a mine with a closed entrance. Players go into the mine for an unforgettable battle in the new quest. It’s about 30 minutes with a level 15 requirement, although there is an extra step.
Completing it will give you the Forgotten Wolf Gear, which makes Geralt look like Henry Cavill in the show’s first season. Writer Philip Webber said that when you update it, you will get a master version that resembles the armor from season 2. It’s worth noting that the Netflix quest and new features will also be available after December 14 on the Nintendo Switch.
CD Projekt RED has also implemented a slow walking speed with the controller, radial menu improvements (to switch to inventory from the radial menu), fall damage changes, and instant herb harvesting.
