Dishwashers have long been a common appliance found in almost every kitchen. And yet, I think the average person knows far less about dishwashers than they do about TVs or even refrigerators.
As a result, choosing a dishwasher is always a tough challenge because most people have little to no understanding of the differences between the different models.
That’s why you should immediately ask the question: how to differentiate between models and understand the details. Of course, you can just use the model description and its name in the store. However, manufacturers (including Samsung) use different names to attract customers. What I mean is that manufacturers change the names of specific models in order to highlight in the description what is of most interest to buyers in a particular country.
For example, let’s look at two dishwashers in the US and in the UK. In the US it’s name is StormWash™ 42 dBA Dishwasher in Black Stainless Steel and in the UK it’s named Series 6 Built in Full Size Dishwasher, 14 Place Settings.
But you have to realize that these are marketing names that are supposed to attract the customer. In fact, every dishwasher also has a model number, which contains all the specific information about the model, including series, width, color and more.
So if you want to know details about the Samsung dishwasher, you need to be able to read and understand the model number.

Where to find Samsung dishwasher model number
To read the dishwasher model number, you first need to find it. To do this, you can use several different ways.
The easiest is to find the sticker on the door. Just open the dishwasher door and there you will find the Samsung dishwasher model number.
The second option is to find the model number on the box from the dishwasher. Another option is to find the model number in the manual that comes in the box.
However, if you have torn off the sticker and thrown away the box with the manual, but remember the marketing name you used to buy the dishwasher, then you can simply type the marketing name into Google and find the model number on the Samsung website.
