- Visit the website: https://www.spotify.com.
- Click on the Log in button.
- Sign in into your account with your username and password.
- Click on the “Account”.
- Click on “Available Plans”.
- Click the “Cancel Premium” option.
- Click “Yes, cancel”.
- Your subscription will be cancelled and effective till the end of the billing period.
Why there is no the option to change your plan or cancel your subscription
If you don’t see an option to cancel on your Spotify account page, it may be that you signed up to your Spotify subscription through a third party like iTunes, or your mobile or internet provider.

How to cancel Spotify subscription on your iPhone
- Open “Settings” on your phone.
- Select “Apple ID” at the top of the screen and then choose “Subscriptions”.
- Choose the Spotify subscription from your list.
- Select “Cancel subscription”.
- Then you need to “Confirm” the cancelation.
Keep in mind that you actually cannot cancel your subscription directly from the downloaded app on your mobile device. To cancel it you still have to go to the web page on your browser and cancel it on the website as was described in the “How to cancel Spotify subscription on your laptop” section.
