Why you need Input Source

To begin with, the Input Source in TVs is the designation of the external device that you connect to your Sceptre TV. Where you can find the Input Source menu without remote

So, you need to change the Input Source on your Sceptre TV, but find that the remote doesn’t work or is missing somewhere? Then you can simply use the button bar on the TV itself. How to switch channels on Sceptre TV without remote

How to connect your TV to PC via HDMI

First, you need to check if your devices have the necessary ports. You also need an HDMI cable to connect. Let’s look at everything in more detail. If you have everything, you can go directly to the connection and configuration.

• The HDMI input on your TV is usually on the side, or on the back (sometimes, both). They should be signed and numbered. 
• Next, take a look at the back of your computer, i.e. the system box. There you will need to find the HDMI output. HDMI can be on the motherboard (integrated graphics on newer boards) or on the video card. However, even if you have this port on the motherboard, and there’s a separate discrete video card with HDMI output, the TV must be connected to the video card.
• The HDMI cable has to be the length you need. They’re available up to 20 meters. If you don’t have a separate cable, you can use the one your monitor is connected with.

More often than not, once the devices are connected and turned on, there’s no picture on the TV. You’ll see a message like “No signal” or “No input source selected” or something like that. • To do this, your TV remote should have a separate “SOURCE” button, or “INPUT” button.
