What is YouTube Short Stories
YouTube Shorts lets you shoot short videos – up to 15 or 60 seconds long – on your mobile device and publish them immediately to your channel. You could make short videos before, but now you have more options to create them. You can shoot segments and merge them into a single video, record a video with music from your YouTube music library, change the recording speed, or add video openers from your gallery and text to your videos. Shorts are displayed on the YouTube home page, in “Subscriptions,” and in alerts. To make short videos appear in different sections of the platform, users can add the #Shorts hashtag to the title or description of the video.
How to download it
If you want to save a story you like for the future and download it, there are different ways to do it. To do this you first need to download the application Videoder or Snaptube. Then follow these steps :
- You need to click on the Name of the channel in the story you like
- Once you have opened the channel you need to find the exact video you want to download and open it
- Now click on the Share button
- After tapping on the Share button, Tap on Videoder or Snaptube to download the video
- Next you need to choose the quality of the video you want to download
- Then you can download the video you like with the app
You can also use the easiest way to save the video. Use the built-in screen recorder on your phone. Most phones will have this feature pre-installed. On others you can download it separately.
How to download a normal video from YouTube
Of course you can also download videos from YouTube. You can do it by following this simple instruction:
- Open YouTube and select the video you’d like to download.
- Open it
- Then pause it. You will see the Share button
- Click on the share button, and you will see an option to copy the link. Click it and copy the link
- Once you have copied the link go to your browser and open a Google search
- Paste the copied link in the search box
- Your video will come up in your browser
- After the video is opened, move your cursor behind the letter “Y” in YouTube
- Erase everything behind the word YouTube
- After erasing “http://m.”, type “ss” in the same place before “YouTube“
- Then click Search. A new link will open
- Here you can download your video by selecting its format and quality
- This method can be used for both phones and computers
