On Tuesday, nearly all WhatsApp users had a massive outage around 3 a.m. ET. Everyone displayed the same problem with data downloads and internet connectivity. Virtually every device on the screen had an internet problem. At the same time, users couldn’t download all the chats and open any information.

During this short period, more than 12,000 messages weren’t sent. In just half an hour, the company Meta, which owns WhatsApp, reported that the problem had been fixed. However, most users would like more information about the situation.

Since many platforms have lately succumbed to the provocations of hacker attacks, users are worried about the data stored in WhatsApp. This is logical, as this kind of data leakage can lead to a data breach. However, the company Meta, which owns WhatsApp, didn’t name the cause of the failure.

We should expect more information from company representatives shortly if there is a leak. However, we should hope for the best because WhatsApp is a secure messenger since the app offers end-to-end encryption of messages.
