Less than a year ago, in the wake of Clubhouse’s success, Twitter began testing audio rooms. Now Spaces is available to everyone, with no limit on the number of followers.

Now any Twitter user on iOS and Android can host an audio room, regardless of the number of followers. Previously, starting in May of this year, the limit was 600 subscribers. At the time, the company attributed this to the need to ensure a good experience when testing the feature. Now, there is no limit, which means that you can host it just by selecting the compose button and then the Spaces icon.

Since the feature was introduced, the company has made several tangible improvements. These include adding the ability to add preset tags to help users find an audio room based on their preferences. Also, the company has added a co-hosting feature, which allows for other people to be involved in moderating the audio room.
