Tumblr is a place to express yourself, discover yourself, and bond over the stuff you love. It’s where your interests connect you with your people. Such applications are very appropriate during a pandemic. In them you can spend your free time sitting at home, communicating with like-minded people and finding Internet friends.
And it is because of the increasing popularity of Tumblr and, accordingly, a sharp increase in the number of users, there may be technical problems in the application. The developers simply weren’t ready for such a large influx of people. Some users have had complaints about signing up for Tumblr. They weren’t getting the confirmation email they needed to verify and sign up.
The reason there is no Tumblr Verification Email
To start using Tmblr you need to register. When you create a new account, you provide the email address to which you want to link your account. Tumblr sends a verification message to the address you specify. If you don’t receive the message, there could be two reasons:
- A typo in the email address.
- The message was caught in your spam filter
You may have made a mistake entering your email. To check if this is the case, you need to visit your account settings page. On this page, you can see that you made a typo, or make sure that everything is correct. If there is a typo, you just need to correct it and save the appropriate changes. After this, you can request a link again for verification purposes from your Dashboard top.
If your email address is configured correctly, you need to check any spam filters that your email account uses. It’s possible that a verification message got there. If it is indeed there, open it and click on the link in it. This will confirm the email address you registered in your Tumblr account.
Also, it is possible that you have not been able to find the letter with the confirmation. But don’t be sad. In that case, you can add no-reply@tumblr.com to your address book, or to the contacts your email account uses. Adding no-reply@tumblr.com to the address book or contacts that your mailbox uses to make sure you get the message sent to you. This way, an email sent by Tumblr will not end up in spam. After adding, you need to request to resend the message. Click the “Send it again” link at the top of your Dashboard.
If you’ve followed the steps above and still haven’t received a confirmation email to your email address, all you can do is report your problem to the Tumblr support team.
