Google has begun notifying its users that the monthly cost of the YouTube Premium family subscription plan is going up by $5 per month. Starting in November, most users will start paying $22.99 monthly for YouTube Premium.

While the primary announcement says the price increase will begin on or after the next billing cycle on Nov. 21, some older subscribers won’t see a jump in fees for several months.

The plan has now become less favorable for two-person families. They will still save $1, though. In fact, the prices for single and student accounts have remained the same. Plus, you’ll still be able to watch YouTube without ads, download videos for offline viewing, listen to YouTube Music in total, and play music and videos in the background or with your phone screen turned off.
