Snapchat has a great toolkit for editing and decorating photos taken with the application. You can put a mask, different filters, text, all sorts of graphic effects, and, of course, stickers on your face.
Stickers in Snapchat have already become an integral part of it. The app even has a feature that allows you to create your own personal stickers. But how do you remove a sticker when you don’t need it? It’s actually quite easy to do.

How do you remove a sticker from a picture
If you want to post a Snap but decide that the sticker you added is unnecessary here, you may need to remove it. It’s pretty easy to do. There are a few simple steps you can follow to do it:
- Once you have added a sticker, click on it and hold down
- On the right side of the screen will appear trash can icon
- You need to move the unnecessary sticker to the trash garbage can
- The sticker should disappear right away. All other stickers on the Snap should remain
Remember that this will only remove the sticker from the current snapshot, not permanently. The sticker will remain in your gallery and you can apply it to another image.
How to create your own Snapchat sticker
Snapchat has a feature that allows you to cut out parts of an image and create your own stickers. It’s quite fun. You can for example make stickers with your pet or with your friends. It’s very easy to do, all you have to do is:
- Open the app Snapchat
- Choose something you want to turn into a sticker
- Make a Snap with a picture of that item
- Then you need to click on the Scissors icon on the right side of the screen
- Draw a line around the object you want to turn into a sticker
- The sticker will appear on this Snap, and the app will automatically save it to the gallery
- You can find your stickers from the gallery, you just need to click on the scissors icon
How do you delete your stickers
Deleting stickers is as easy as creating them. Suppose you don’t like the way you cut your sticker or you just don’t like it and you don’t want it in your gallery anymore? If so, you can permanently delete them from your gallery. To do that you need to :
- Open the Snapchat app from your home screen
- Snap anything to access the sticker menu
- Click on the sticker icon, at the top right of your screen
- Select scissors from the sticker menu
- Next you need to tap and hold your sticker
- The pop-up menu will have an Delete button available You need to click it to permanently delete that sticker
Be very careful. Make sure that you delete the sticker you don’t need. As it will be impossible to return it. You will have to make a new sticker from scratch.
