If you’re tired of your MacBook or you’re just not satisfied with the macOS, then today you can find quite a few alternatives among laptops on Windows. In this case, Asus has announced a line of laptops that should compete with the MacBooks PRO.
The other day during the IFA 2022 Asus announced a line of 3 laptops from the ExpertBook series. All are positioned as compact, but powerful devices and features that people have come to expect from laptops MacBook Pro. They are built primarily for work and can provide you with the support you need for your work mode during long trips or travels.
The ExpertBook B5 (B5602C) and B5 Flip (B6602F) line of laptops feature a 16-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is also possible to choose an OLED display that provides you with the best color reproduction and is ideal for editing photos or working with video editors. However, despite these screen sizes, the laptops are quite portable, weighing only 1.4 kg or about 3 pounds.
The Flip version differs from the usual one by having a hinge, which allows you to unfold your laptop and turn it into a tablet. It also comes with a special stylus. Asus company assures that the stylus is able to work up to 45 minutes on a 15-second charge. Regarding the rest of the stuffing, the ExpertBook B5 and B5 Flip laptops come with Intel Core i7-1270P, 40GB of RAM, and an Intel Arc A350M GPU, as well as RAID and Wi-Fi 6E support.
If you need an ultimate solution for resource-intensive work, then Asus has a laptop in their lineup that’s perfect for you, too. The ExpertBook B6 Flip is a more advanced version of the B5 Flip. You will get the same laptop with the flip, but it will be noticeably more powerful. It has the option of an Intel Core i9-12950HX and an NVIDIA RTX A2000 GPU with 8GB of VRAM. On the downside, this made it noticeably thicker and heavier than the B5 models.
You also have the option to get even more upgrades for your laptop. For example additional miniLED-display. At the moment, Asus has only announced its laptops. The exact start day of sales is not yet available, but the company has promised to release them by the end of 2022. Information about the price also does not yet.
