As it does every month, Steam released its Hardware & Software Survey, in which users indicate their respective configurations. This gives an idea of the most popular components in the current market. Somewhat unexpectedly, the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650 tops the list, which, according to the survey, can be found in 6.05 percent of all Steam users’ computers.
The current RTX 4000 series doesn’t appear with any model on the list. As for NVIDIA graphics cards, the most significant increase is elsewhere: the RTX 3060 Laptop GPU increased its share by 1.24 percent over the previous month and is now the fourth most popular GPU among Steam users. The most popular RTX GPU is 2060, which moves into third place with a share of 4.64 percent.
In terms of processors, Intel still leads with 67.1 percent of users, although that number is down nearly four percent from its peak in October. AMD gained all of that market share, climbing to 32.87 percent.
