If you follow the IT world, you probably heard about the recent introduction of new Intel processors. However, in addition to the new chips, Pat Gelsinger, Intel’s CEO also revealed a bit of information about the Intel Arc A770 and A750 graphics cards’ pricing. These are Intel’s first gaming GPUs.

The company confirmed that both graphics cards will appear on store shelves at the same time. The Intel Arc A750 is a slightly weaker brother of the A770, which belongs to the same “Arc 7” line of GPUs. It has 28 Xe cores, instead of 32 in the A770. The memory bandwidth is also slightly reduced, but it still comes with 8GB of GDDR6 memory – though without the 16GB option.

So their direct competitors are the GeForce RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti for the Intel Arc A770 and the RTX 3060 for the Intel Arc A750. However, the prices of these graphics cards are really ridiculous. The Intel Arc A750 is only $290, while the price for the 16GB version of the Arc A770 is $350.

Intel also bundles some games with their graphics cards so you can start playing immediately. This is a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. That’s another $70. In addition, if you join the Gaming Access program, you also get copies of Gotham Knights, The Settlers and Ghostbusters.

Of course I would suggest waiting until the graphics cards are in the hands of real reviewers and users and see the first tests in games under load. But right now Arc looks like a good competitor to cards from Nvidia and AMD. Both the A770 and A750 will be released on October 12.
