According to The Verge, the Tuned app which was launched in 2020, was created by Meta’s New Product Experimentation (NPE) team, which produces experimental apps and services. The platform gave couples an opportunity to chat, share photos and music as well as have a timeline of shared memories.
However, why this app has become so popular? Because it had one secret great feature. The couples had an opportunity to privately share their thoughts and moods as well as send notes to one another. Even though Meta has started to announce Tuned users about shutting down the app on September 19 which was the last day when users could save their data before the app would be shut down, there are no more details about the cutting off on the App and Google Play Stores displayed. However, I believe that the idea of the app is very good and someone would definitely try to create a social media similar or even better to Tuned.
