Microsoft will pay with its own shares if it buys Discord

The WSJ previously reported that Microsoft is in ‘exclusive talks’ with Discord to acquire the company for $10 million or more. However, we now have more far-reaching confirmation now.

The company wants $12.5 billion and Microsoft plans to cover most of the acquisition price using its own stock.

Microsoft has a capitalization of $1.7 trillion now and is looking for acquisitions that may help to attract and keep more costumers.
