For many drivers, including me, Waze is the most convenient assistant on the road. This app includes a lot of information that you need.
Now Waze has started testing a new feature. The new beta version of Waze can notify users of dangerous nearby roads based on traffic data while trying not to overload them with warnings. When using the new beta version of Waze, nearby roads considered high-risk are colored red on the map.
For now, this feature is only in beta and is used in Europe and the United States. But most likely, it will soon appear around the world.
I have already managed to test this new feature, but only after the Waze app was displayed in the car, it looked like a traffic jam as these roads were displayed in red.
The feature also gives only one pop-up notification of dangerous roads around the driver, perhaps to keep the caution from becoming a worry.
But if you don’t want Waze to color the roads red when it appears, the feature can be turned off with a switch in the app’s alert settings section.
Many service users are not sure this feature is necessary as it can sometimes bring panic and worry. It is best to use it only when driving in unknown terrain to prepare for a dangerous road.
