We’ll soon have another way to access Xbox Cloud Gaming beyond consoles, PCs, tablets, and phones. Microsoft is working with Meta to bring the service to the Meta Quest Store, which means it will be available on Meta Quest 2 and possibly even Meta Quest Pro headsets.
You will need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription to use Xbox Cloud Gaming. Meta Quest 2 will allow you to play console games from the service on a vast virtual 2D screen, meaning you won’t be playing VR versions of the games.
What’s more, you won’t need to use Quest 2 controllers. You’ll have the option to connect an Xbox controller to Quest 2.
However, Microsoft and Meta haven’t said when Xbox Cloud Gaming will be available on the headset. However, they said they plan to share more details soon.
