Apple has introduced two new vocational training and certification programs to train IT workers or those who want to start a career in IT. The training aims to teach people how to deploy, manage and maintain iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other Apple devices used in the workplace.

The cost of each exam is $149 and recertification exams for unexpired certificates cost $49. Along with this, Apple will provide scholarships covering the cost of the exams to students who participate in the Community Education Initiative. You can sign up for the course by clicking on the link.

What is worth knowing about these programs?

The main purpose of creating the training is to help people get high-paying jobs in IT. Since by getting certificates, employers will be more interested in hiring such employees. At the same time, Apple reported that in developing it for people, the task was to make the ability to pay not an obstacle to obtaining a certificate.

One course is called ‘Supporting Apple Devices’. It’s based on a combination of articles and exercises that cover tools and services. The result is to teach you troubleshooting and system administration used to support users of Apple devices. The course covers about 14 hours of content. After it’s completed, you’ll take an exam to get certified and move on to the next course.

The second course ‘Apple Deployment and Management’ will teach you how to configure, manage and protect Apple products. The training is also aimed at teaching you how to develop your deployment strategy and how to use Apple Business Manager and Apple School Manager. The training will take about 13 hours. After completing the course, you will be able to take a certification exam.
