LG unveiled its new premium monitors at this year’s IFA Berlin. One of the models shown is a 45-inch curved display that was specifically designed for more immersive gaming. The company says this model (45GR95QE) is the first curved display under the UltraGear brand of gaming monitors, and the first OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate. It features a 21:9 aspect ratio for ultra-wide viewing, WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution, HDR10, and HDMI 2.1 support.

Thanks to the monitor’s aspect ratio and borderless design combined with the 800R curvature, gamers will be able to immerse themselves in the gaming experience even deeper. LG has even applied an anti-reflective and low-reflective coating to the screen to reduce the feeling of watching the game on the screen.

If this all sounds familiar to you, it’s because you may have heard that Corsair has also just released a 45-inch 1440p gaming monitor called the Xeneon Flex, which it developed in partnership with LG. However, unlike that UltraGear model, this one has a bendable design that can change from straight to 800R curvature.

In addition to the upcoming 45-inch curved display, LG also showed off the UltraFine Display Ergo AI at IFA. The 31.5-inch display has a built-in camera that tracks the user’s eye level and then automatically adjusts the height and tilt. This way the user doesn’t stay in one position for long periods sitting at the monitor.

Unfortunately, LG hasn’t announced the price or availability of the monitors, so those interested will have to wait for more details.
