Second-generation Solo Stove fireplaces discounted to $320 for Labor Day

This year, Labor Day at Solo Stove is starting a little early – the company is discounting all of its fire pits and bundles. This is the first big sale for the new second-generation fire pits, which appeared in early August. The Ranger 2.0, Bonfire 2.0, and Yukon 2.0 are all up to 40 percent off at $200, $230, and $430, respectively. Most kits are about 45 percent off, including the Bonfire Backyard Bundle 2.0, which includes a spark shield, stand, shelter, carrying case, and lid along with the aforementioned fire pit.

You should know that despite the high price, these campfire devices produce a less smoky fire and last longer than cheaper alternatives you can buy at your local hardware store. Once you start the fire, Solo Stoves draw the smoke away from you with a double-wall design that pulls hot air through the vents back into the fire. This design reduces smoke while creating fine ash and keeping the fire hot.

The recently released 2.0 models have eliminated perhaps our biggest problem with these machines – they’re hard to clean. It used to be that after a few uses, you had to lift the entire fire and hold it upside down over the debris to remove all the ash and debris.

Now there’s no need for that thanks to the removable base plate and ash pan that come with the 2.0 models. Once the fire pit is completely cooled down, you can simply climb inside, remove the baseplate, and then pull out the ash pan to throw away the remaining debris.

In addition, the new models have the same 360° Signature Airflow technology as previous versions, and all first-generation accessories work with the new fireplaces. If you’re purchasing a Solo Stove for the first time or upgrading to a new model, now is a great time to purchase one of the latest models while they’re still available at a discount.
