Since its premiere, the show has been watched for 752.5 million hours, the third highest among English-language programs. Netflix measures viewing time-based on the results of a particular project during the first 28 days of availability, so “Wednesday” has two more weeks to continue its way up the rankings.

For comparison, the first place at the top belongs to the fourth season of “Stranger Things” (1.35 billion hours of viewing in the first 28 days), followed by “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” (856.2 million hours of viewing). One could reasonably assume that by the end of the evaluation period, the show starring Jenna Ortega will have overtaken both projects – in the first two weeks, both the sequel to the Duffer brothers’ brainchild and the serial killer series have accumulated less viewing time than “Wednesday” has now (621.8 million hours and 496.1 million hours, respectively).

The plot unfolds around a teenage Wednesday Addams, who is sent to study at the Nevermore Academy to sharpen her supernatural abilities. In parallel, a series of mysterious murders take place at the school, somehow connected to a long-standing secret of the girl’s parents.
