Despite the severe recession and high inflation, the techno-giant continues to prepare for fall sales and Christmas holidays. Samsung and Apple have recently released this year’s novelties, followed by Google and Microsoft, who are expected to make their releases on October 6 and 12, respectively.

Amazon is not leaving its rivals and will hold its event on Wednesday, where the company will likely show further updates to its Echo Dot devices. It is also expected that the company will tell about the new products from Ring, a black firm specializing in smart devices for the security of your home.

Also, Amazon likes to present weird gadgets that don’t always become popular, but the company is constantly experimenting. Last year, for example, there was a whole bunch of them. Among them: are innovative Alexa features in a microwave or analog watch, Amazon Glow for kids, and the Halo View fitness tracker.

Speaking of Ring, they introduced the Ring Alarm Pro home security system and the Always Home Cam flying drone to monitor your home when you’re not home. In addition, Astro was also on display. This is Amazon’s home robot assistant, which is still being tested.

The company probably has a lot planned for this presentation. Since it is rumored that they even want to make another Prime Day-like sale in October, although this has not been confirmed, apart from that, the company is actively preparing for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Amazon also announced that the Prime video service would complement the broadcasts of such events as NFL Thursday Night Football games.

The Amashchon event will air Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. PT/noon ET / 5 p.m. BST / Sept. 29 at 2 a.m. AEST. Unlike their competitors, Amazon events are private and not broadcast. Various members of the press were invited to attend. You can follow their news and broadcasts on CNET, for example.
