What was Instagram doing with today’s troubles?

Users around the world had another massive glitch today. This time, users started losing access to their accounts. Most users experienced a problem as if their accounts had been hacked, they were thrown out of their accounts, and as a result, it was impossible to log in.

On Monday morning, it all started, and Instagram confirmed on its Twitter page after a while that everything was fixed. It’s not a problem right now. There’s no word yet on whether this will cause any further trouble.

This crash was unlike any other in recent memory. As user accounts were blocked and at the same time, people saw a notification about it. It could also be attributed to a new update to the app that came out this morning.

Those users who didn’t lose access to their profiles noticed how the number of followers dropped significantly. This was especially noticeable in the accounts of famous people who ‘lost’ several hundred thousand or millions of followers for a few hours.
